Eric Wuennenberg is the owner and principal photographer of Performance Photo.

His work appears frequently in newspapers and magazines throughout the Midwest. He has won numerous awards from the Wisconsin Newspaper Association, including top honors for feature and sports photography. He also received the Wisconsin School Bell Award for educational reporting while editor of The Westby Times.

Eric is a member of the Wisconsin News Photographers Association and maintains a sports photo gallery at SportsShooter.com. He is a Licensed Photographer with the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association. He is also a long-time contributing editor to Silent Sports magazine.

In previous lives, he developed and operated some of America’s top cross-country ski areas, ran one of northern Wisconsin’s top-rated private campgrounds and created an award-winning community energy conservation program as executive director of the Viroqua, WI, Chamber of Commerce.

He lives in Westby, Wisconsin with his wife, Carolyn. Their daughters, Carla and Ellen, are graduates of the University of Wisconsin and live in Madison.
